You're in Luck!
Whether it's for a weekend or the rest of your life,
you'll find Luck has all the best that rural midwest living has to offer.

Luck, known for it's Danish Heritage is situated among several different lakes, in an area of rolling hills and scattered woodlands, which provides for a very attractive living environment.  Luck is located on Highways 35 and 48 in Polk County, Wisconsin.

Recreation in the Luck area centers on its beautiful lakes, which provides fishing, boating, swimming, and total relaxation.  Luck also offers plenty of space for picnics, hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities for summer fun, and snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and ice skating for your winter enjoyment.  Luck has a municipal owned 18 hole golf course with open membership available at the Country Club, and a lighted softball field and tennis courts nearby.  A privately owned racquet ball court rounds out the facilities.

Luck has a strong economic base.  Diverse industries are located in Luck and industry development sites are readily available.  The Luck Chamber of Commerce works hard to ensure progressive and orderly economic development throughout the Luck area to make the community a great place to work and live.

The Luck residents are very proud of their community which offers a library, medical clinic, ambulance service, a nursing home, a dental clinic, a chiropractic clinic, drug store, an optometrist, several different churches, and an attorney.  Hospital facilities are found in 3 neighboring towns.  The Luck Public School offers excellent education opportunities, along with a full athletic program.

Luck residents are very happy to have you stop at their local businesses which includes grocery, liquor, hardware, furniture and variety stores.  Gift Shops, a shoe shop, and meat locker are all conveniently located.  Trucks, cars, boats, and snowmobiles can be purchased or serviced in Luck.  The Luck community has a motel, post office, bank, travel agency, beauty shops, barber shop, laundromat, dry cleaning, plumbing and heating, lumber yard, and garbage pickup.

Lucky Days is our summer community festival which is held in July each year, and we have the Luck Winter Carnival held each February during the year.  These events offer lots of fun with a very friendly community.  Luck is more than a town-it's a community of people who live together, play together and work together to provide an environment that helps individuals, families and businesses grow to their full potential.
