Client Software Download
The roaming client software contains an international phone book with the
global access phone numbers and login information. To get started,
download the software and launch the application by double-clicking the
iPass icon on your desktop. The client dialer allows you to easily
select the country and city you are in, and select the local access
point of your choice to connect to the Internet.
After installing the iPass software, we strongly suggest running the
application and updating the "phonebook" within the software to make sure
you have access to all the latest telephone numbers before you go roaming.
Please note: If you have a version of
iPassConnect already installed on your computer, and wish to update it,
you must uninstall the current version first.
Choose the client software for your operating system:

* Confirm that your PDA is running Palm OS version 3.1, 3.5, or 4.0 before installing iPassConnect.
** Confirm that your Windows PDA is running Windows CE 2.11 or Windows CE 3.0 for Pocket PC before installing iPassConnect.
*** Confirm that your Pocket PC is running the Pocket PC OS
2002 or later.
Before You Roam
There are two important things to do before you travel:

Be sure to test your client software before roaming.

Understand that modems function differently around the world. Many countries have different telecommunications
laws and practices.
