Got to ride on the Courtney Burton, huh! I'm glad you weren't trying to FLAUNT your good fortune or we readers would have been compelled to demand equality. Anyway, I'm glad to hear that you will be doing articles on "Ships of Lake Superior." They are a LARGE part of my interest in the lake, although I am also devoted to the wild and beautiful aspects. That's a strange combination, isn't it? The ships are massive, man-made, heavy metal, mechanical workhorses, and the lake is sand, water, seagulls, waves, and fresh air. I guess that's why I like visiting Duluth/ Superior, I get to enjoy both.
