Happens every now and then here at Presque Isle on shore of Lake Huron.
We get a strong onshore breeze that drops temps at shore 20+ degrees, and
after a bit cools vehicles, then as you drive inshore into the forested
area, you enter the humid area,  instant window fog.  In extreme, get fog
inside and out if you have defroster vents open.
