I peer within my psyche to ask and wonder.
Do I harbor another presence within?
Might twins exist in one body?
An invisible one who is seldom heard from,
only revealing himself in bursts of inspiration
yet mostly lurking hidden and silent?
The source of unpredictable inspiration?
Or does a Greek muse visit my subconsciousness?
and twist it, and wring it dry of incipient figments?
If I ever discover the truth, I'll let you know.
