SuperPower's
Cool Features
(Why
it's Worth the Wait)
SuperPower (formerly Defcon) is a geopolitical strategy game that puts you in the seat of power. Designed as a model of the real world, SuperPower possesses the largest database ever assembled for a strategy game. The player can choose to play any one of 140 different countries and pursue the following goals: stay in power, balance national resources, eliminate domestic rebels, or conquer the world. Players must deal with politics, demographics, economics, military, and secret actions to achieve their gameplay goals.
Battles in the game are not limited to premade maps, but can be fought anywhere on the planet. The complete topographical map of the globe is built into SuperPower. When a battle occurs, you are taken to the battlefield to marshall your forces with an unique battle interface. The WarArt System, inspired by a simulator used by the U.S. military to teach combat strategy, allows you all the time you need to issue orders for your land, sea, and air units. Unlike most other war games, in SuperPower you are not expected out-click, but out-wit the enemy's forces.
Possibly the most exciting aspect of the game is its artificial intelligence. The EHE, or evolving human emulator, represents a revolutionary new approach to computer gaming. The program actually learns from the games it plays with you!
