In the interests of gameplay, I think you could get away with fictionalizing the order of battle and filling in other gaps by estimation.

I think you'll agree that Central Asia and the Causasus are very significant geopolitically and the locus of some of the most intriguing power struggles in modern international affairs. It would certainly make playing Russia, Turkey, China and Iran much more interesting.
