Although the manual for SuperPower will explain everything required to play the game it will not be "a guide of geo-political know-how".  It will be the player’s responsibility to search further for information on the countries' unique situations; their histories, domestic troubles, ongoing conflicts, and conflicts likely to arise.  This resource has been created to serve as an aid for aspiring leaders in the world of SuperPower.

        This database contains situation briefings for the 140 nations featured in the game.  All information contained in these reports is current as of January 1, 1997.  Future events are not explicitly detailed, but often foreshadowed.
