I thoroughly understand the time consuming process of the dossier preparation for international adoptions. This is why I have started to help others with their dossiers. This can free up your time so you can concentrate on the other thingsneeded, like getting their rooms ready and collecting funds to travel, etc. Ispecialize in all aspects of compiling the necessary forms to complete yourdossier. I can help you with obtaining your visa's, arranging your travel plans,as well as sending for your passports. If interested, please do not hesitate to E-mail me at judi@baldwin-telecom.net with anyquestions. Here is what the procedure usually consists of:
- E-mail me at
judi@baldwin-telecom.net. Give me the name of your adoption agency and a contact person's name.
- I will contact that person to get that agency's dossier requirements.
- A $150.00 deposit must be mailed to: Judi Holmquist, 3235 State Road 170 E, GlenwoodCity, WI 54013, 1-715-265-4202.
- I will then prepare a Power of attorney statement that will only include theitems requested by your agency. This is necessary to obtain certain documents. This Power of attorney must be signed in front of a notary public and mailed back to me before we can begin to compile your dossier. The Power of Attorney is required by many state agencies in order for me to act on your behalf. This can be either faxed, mailed, or e-mailed back to you to print.
- When I receive the executed Power of Attorney and your deposit, I will then begin contacting the various places needed to compile your dossier.
- I will have them notarized and state certified - whatever is required by your agency.
- I will keep track of the costs involved and submit all expenses with your bill.
- Fees will include all expenses of obtaining the documents and a charge of $10.00 per document processed. The average dossier is 10 pages so that would be approximately $100.00 plus the costs of mailing, calling or state fees. For example, if you need a certified copy of your birth certificate the average cost for that is $12.00 to have it state certified is $5.00. Mailing would probably be .64 cents. My fee $10.00 so thetotal approximate cost for the 1 document would be $27.64.
