The Holmquist Family
My husband and I were married on August 5, 1995 in Glenwood City, WI. We knew from the start that we wanted to be parents. When our attempts to conceive failed we made an appointment with our adoption agency. This was to be the greatest mostwonderful and fulfilling experience of our lives. This was in April 1997. We traveled to Russia on July 25, 1998 and brought our handsome Russian 3 & 4 year old brothers home to live in the United States on August 7, 1998. Yes, we are BIGGreen Bay Packer Fans! While we are anxiously getting our documents together, I realized that this processwas very time consuming. I was working full-time and found it difficult to find thetime to obtain all the necessary documents needed to properly complete our dossier.with all the running around to get the documents, then notarized, and forwarding them to the state for State Certification, was unbelievable. I found myself taking so much time off work I was afraid that we would not be able to raise the funds needed fortravel. I knew that I had always loved to organize things, but working full-time and with the stress of trying to complete all those little details, as well as thecontemplation of the whole adoption picture was a bit overwhelming for me. This iswhy I started this business. To help other families that are in the same situation that we were in. Also to help elevate some of the pressure so that you can concentrate on getting your child/children home and settled into a new life. Today I am a stay at home mom watching our 2 little Russian boys. Paul is a truckdriver that delivers auto parts to over 30 different auto dealerships every day.He has long hours so every minute together is great! We attend the Glen Hills United Methodist Church in Glenwood City, WI. We were marriedthere and the boys were baptized there. I am currently the church's Lay leader and theboys attend Sunday School regularly.
