Lake Shore Lodge is located within the city limits of Phillips, yet is secluded enough to assure you a quiet, restful vacation.
The year round cottages are situated on a terrace overlooking Lake Duroy, one of the Phillips Chain of Lakes. Each cottage is completely modern and immaculate, fully equipped for light housekeeping. We furnish all kitchen equipment, also bath and bed linen by the week.
Each cottage has its own outdoor barbecue grill and picnic table. A 14 ft. Aluma Craft boat is included in the weekly rental. Additional boats and outboard motors are also available. There is a ten mile per hour speed limit for boats on this lake in order to avoid excessive noise and disturbance to fishermen and vacationers on its shores.
Lake Duroy is known as an excellant lake for muskie. Walleye, northern, smallmouth bass and panfish are also abundant in Lake Duroy as well as in the entire chain of lakes. For the trout fisherman, many excellant streams are within 15 minutes driving distance of the lodge. Tasty brook trout and fighting brown trout are there for the taking, if you can trick them into taking your fly or worm !
An excellant 9-hole golf course is within three miles of the lodge, and stores, churches and restaurants are within walking distance of the cottages. We are also located on the snowmobile trail. We also welcome hunters.
